Wiz Khalifa Stops by Rampage Skate Shop, Treats Kids to Concert

Bridgeport's Rampage Skate Shop got a visit from a heavily tattooed hip hop star Thursday.

It was none other than Wiz Khalifa, who stopped by the store on his way to his performance at Oakdale Theatre in Wallingford.

Khalifa, who is currently traveling with A$AP Rocky, B.O.B., Trinidad James and Joey Bada$$ on the "Under The Influence of Music Tour," purchased more than $1,200 worth of skateboards, clothes and artwork from Rampage.

Then, the "Black and Yellow" rapper surprised the kids hanging out at the adjoining skate park with a much-appreciated gift.

"He gave 15 of the kids free front row tickets and back stage passes to his show at the Oakdale," said Dave Peterson, who owns the shop and skate park. "They got autographs and everything."
Peterson, who was ecstatic over the impromptu visit, added that Khalifa was a "great guy, very down to earth, not a show boat like a lot of other rappers."

Every year in Ansonia, CT the city gears up to celebrate the achievement of Pierre Lallement, who invented the modern bicycle while living there in 1865. This year the city held the second Pierre Lallement Festival of Bicycles on June 3. One of the directors asked us to do a small demo with the Rampage Street Team, we were stoked to be part of the event and brought the crew down with a few ramps. Feat.

Thief Steals Grind Box/Rail From Rampage & Gets LAWNCHAIRED

This is footage from our security cameras at Rampage of an now identified person in a white truck stealing a ramp & rail from our parking lot. These ramps are enjoyed by skaters from all over every day free of charge. Before we could catch this guy he was already in jail for stealing metal and scrapping it.
